Grande Prairie Auto Repair

I was mounting a new deck onto the back of my 1 ton and was having a hard time finding a shop that could wire in the lights to the truck and was in a bind as I needed it done quick as I needed to be back at work asap. Grand Prairie auto said they could help me out and I think the job turned to be a little bit more than both of us had anticipated nevertheless gp auto south stepped up to the plate got the job done. Did a great job made sure it was all done right and still charged an extremely fair price for the amount of extra hours the entire team put in. I’d like to personally Thank the techs/ management and everyone involved that stayed late on a Friday and came in and worked on their day off to make sure my truck was up and running and I was able to get back to work. They did an awesome job and still billed me very fair price extremely happy with these guys. 11 out of 10 I will be returning with any other mechanical work I need done in the future.

The service that was done (oil change) was fine. However, I waited in the shop for 2 hours for an oil change which I had booked the previous day. If there was going to be a 2 hour wait, I would have appreciated knowing that ahead of time.

After searching out a few places that offer automotive repairGP Auto Repair hands down immediately handled everything after a brief explanation as to what I neededit was as good as done. And do I dare say ..at a far more fair cost than any of the others thank you to everyone,,, you all have a normal way of looking after the costumers coming through your doorno inflated pricesno up selling ( but able to look after it all) just a fair and honest look at what your vehicle needs! .with a friendly intelligent group of people at the ready! Finally

I was in Grande Prairie for 1 night and heading to Calgary the following morning for the 7 hour drive. I had a huge issue with my car and had it towed to this garage at midnight. Eric and the mechanics put a rush job on the repair and I was able to leave the city the next day at 3 pm. Their professionalism and expertise in handling my car issue was commendable!!

I appreciate the great communication from their shop. I always feel like I know what's going on.

I took my truck in the first time for a coolant smell then they said my engine needed to be replaced charged me 17000 then I went to Edmonton the truck broke down. Then I took it to Nissan 4000 and was on my way home the truck barely made it to gp took it back to Gp auto they said Nissan in Edmonton did not fix the problem it was the turbo booster seized another 13000. Then drove it to Peace river broke down there, got another shop too looK at it in Peace River and they said the timing was way off and they had a coat hanger holding my front grill and I got it towed to Grande Prairie to gp auto well the shop in Peace river didn't see the broken hose... what is with these other auto repair shops not fixing my truck? .thanks GP Auto done it for free because they knew I was stressed found and fixed it again

I left my Honda Civic at 8:00 AM for a wiper repair and was not advised of any delays. The vehicle was not inspected or repaired on the first day or the following morning. I was later informed on the second evening that more time was needed and asked to return that 2 days that is on Monday. I was charged $187 without any work being completed. The communication and service were not satisfactory
